Phasmophobia is overhauling the VR coop horror games evidence collection system next month’s “Chronicle” update. Kinetic Games announced that the next major
patch for its Phasmophobia will be released on June 24. This patch will bring a “total revamp” of the evidence collection system with three new types. This patch adds a ‘Sound” evidence category for detecting audio cues when ghost events occur, Spirit Box responses, and Paranormal Sound, along with a three-tiered sound recorder. 2025 roadmap The redesigned Journal replaces the Photos Tab with a Media Tab, which includes photos, videos, and these sound recordings. After completing a project, the first proof captured will be marked as “Unique”. This earns you extra money and XP. There are also tier bonuses that depend on the type of equipment used. And the studio confirms that every media capture will be counted towards the final payout. Chronicle Next month’s update, alongside Chronicle, will introduce a revised leveling and progress system. The usual bug fixes are also promised, along with a new main menu interface. Phasmophobia’s roadmap also promises a Grafton Farmhouse update with new graphics and a redesigned interface, as well as a character overhaul later in the year. Phasmophobia’s Chronicle update will launch on June 24. The base games are available on
