Smalland: Survive the Wilds VR is a new open-world survival crafting game reaching Quest soon.
Released in February on flatscreen platforms, Smalland: Survive the Wilds VR is a single-player adventure that involves exploration, scavenging, crafting and giant insects. The VR version, developed by Pocket-Sized Hands features a brand new story where you take on the role of a Smallfolk living in a gigantic world. After the Giants have disappeared, your task is to reclaim the Overlands.
Publisher Merge Games previously announced that, unlike the flatscreen version, the Quest release won’t support co-op. Studio confirms the VR version will share assets from the original to maintain the “as close as possible” aesthetic. The lore and creatures are also similar. The FAQ says that it will only be available on Quest headsets for now. Smallland: Survive the Wilds will be available on
platforms from May 2. Meta Quest
