Apple, the tech giant, has reportedly delayed the launch of its AR glass because of some technical issues. Bloomberg reported that the company originally planned to launch the AR glasses by 2023. However, it was delayed until 2025. The company’s shifting plans highlight the challenges Apple faces when pushing into a new market. The company is betting that AR and VR devices could be a major moneymaker, but the technical challenges of producing a consumer-friendly product has bedeviled much of the tech world,” the report said.

According to the reports, Apple had initially planned to introduce the glasses after the launch of the mixed-reality headset, but they have now decided to focus on reducing the cost of the headset instead. The company has not yet announced when or if they plan to release the glasses. According to the report, virtual and augmented realities will be integrated into Apple’s mixed-reality headset. It is expected to be unveiled at its spring event in this year. The technology is expected to be costly for Indians and could cost up to INR 2.5 lakh. Apple’s mixed-reality headset is said to use displays to create an all-encompassing VR environment and pass through cameras to mimic an AR effect.
