Zombie Army VR to Release in June After Late Delay

Zombie Army VR was delayed again on all platforms a few days before its planned launch. Rebellion, the publisher, originally planned a launch date of May 22 on Quest and PlayStation VR2. It has now moved that date forward to June 12. This delay is not explained in detail, other than to ensure “the best possible experience”. You can read their full statement below.

Dear Deadhunters. confirmed This is an important update regarding the release of Zombie Army VR. The game will launch in all formats on June 12th. This extra time will enable us to give you the best possible launch experience. We apologize for the delay, and we appreciate your patience. This is not the first delay for Zombie Army VR. The upcoming action title was initially slated to release in 2024 before being pushed

into 2025. In March, XR Games announced a May 22 release date, along with the news that Xtended Realities had taken over development duties. Rebellion has recently released a

video, which gives us an idea of what we can expect. The campaign of the VR game is set before Zombie Army 4. It can be played alone or with two players in co-op. You play as a Deadhunter, battling zombie war criminals throughout the ruined city of Nuremberg. Zombie Army VR is launching on June 12th on Rift, Rift 2,
