The VR body-hiding simulation, Hide The Corpse has introduced optional effects that complicate gameplay.
Hide The Corpse, a bizarre physics puzzler developed by Realcast (Just Hoops), challenges players to hide and find a body in just four minutes. Players can complicate body-hiding efforts with three new conditions introduced in the Modifiers Update version.
The effects include “Gas Crisis”, a body rocketing effect that sends Gus flying. There’s also “Flubber”, a modifier which makes Gus’ body unpredictable and bouncy, and “Saturday slip fever”, a grease effect, making Gus slippery and difficult to manoeuvre. Applying these additional complications earns you more points if you manage to hide the corpse in time. The following trailer shows you how each modifier works:
Hide The Corpse’s most recent update has also introduced dedicated doors to each section of the level. Wardrobe door and various bug fixes have been improved. Realcast continues to update the game since
. Realcast has continued to release updates for the game since leaving Early Access last year, including the latest Gus on the Loose Update which added randomized body spawning as well as refinements to its progression tracking system.
: The Modifiers Update for Quest is now available. Hide The Corpse will also be coming to Steam & PlayStation VR2 “soon”, although there is currently no specific date.
