Blumhouse Horrorverse brings M3GAN and The Purge experiences to Horizon Worlds.

Meta partnered with Blumhouse in order to bring social VR based on their movies to Horizon Worlds. Blumhouse has produced some of the most successful horror movies of the 21st century. These include Paranormal Activity (also known as Paranormal Activity), Insidious (also known as Sinister), The Purge (also called The Purge), Split, Get Out and M3GAN. They also created the cinematic adaptation of Five Nights at Freddy’s. The Blumhouse Horrorverse in Horizon features experiences based on M3GAN, The Purge, Wolf Man, The Black Phone and more. Blumhouse Horrorverse was the last addition to Meta’s larger partnership with NBCUniversal which brought the

VR game series to Horizon Worlds earlier this year. ARVORE developed Blumhouse horrorverse using the

, the VR game studio that created the

series. Meta contracted ARVORE to develop the Dunder Mifflin Office. You start in a dark wood, where you find “the Blumhouse”, which has ‘twisting, haunting, and secretive activities”. The main game is Survival Lockdown. It’s a multiplayer activity that pits players against each other in the Blumhouse. One randomly selected player will be the Villain. This allows you to play as some of Blumhouse’s most terrifying characters like Lady Liberty, M3GAN’s unhinged robotic, or Babyface, the ever-smiling Babyface from Happy Death Day. The Villain’s role is to hunt the survivors down one by one, and eliminate them, before they are able to escape from the Blumhouse. The “screening room” has a cinema-screen on which Blumhouse shows movie clips and trailers of upcoming movies and TV series. Blumhouse Horrorverse offers a world of freedom

. You can access it via Meta Horizon or Quest VR headsets, or on a flatscreen using the Meta Horizon app for your phone or web. There is a limit of 8 players per instance. Horizon Desktop Editor
