This sequel follows the chunky look of the original, and players take on the role of Blink, an ‘looprunner,’ who battles to survive in a tournament arena called Crashloop. You’ll gradually upgrade your equipment by surviving gladiatorial battles, and work your way up the ranks until you face Clone Drone’s biggest dog, Captain. You’ll be able to choose from a variety of weapons, such as katanas and fists. There are environmental hazards, like turrets and lava, to be aware of. Turbofists are a set of upgrade options that add special effects like time-slowing and summoning spells to your swordplay. Between combats, you can also learn about Clone Drone sci-fi history by meeting other competitors. You’ll be able to take sides, listen to their stories, and gain insight from their battles.
