Apple Vision Pro Now Supports Niantic Hello Dot


Hello, Dot released in early this year

explore mixed reality using Meta’s headset. You can use a paint bucket to change the color of a Dot and direct it with your finger. Now you can do the same on Apple Vision Pro.

that Niantic is planning to extend its experience for Quest 3 headsets sometime in 2025. UploadVR was told by the company that they are looking at introducing playdates between Dots on Quest Headsets as well cosmetics and toys. So far, there’s no word yet on whether Apple headsets will receive any further add-ons beyond the initial experience.

Niantic is best known as the development studio behind mobile gaming powerhouse Pokemon Go. The studio has been working on a map of the world and other technologies to power mixed reality experiences inside headsets or AR glasses. Peridot Beyond, a different experience exclusively reported, hints what social interaction in the future might look like.
