FRENZIES, a brand new PvP game with “neon” by Near Light studio, is coming soon to Quest 2.0 and PSVR 2.1001010. The game boasts a “chaotic blend” of solo and multiplayer modes, both traditional and non-traditional, for 12 players. These include “Red Light Green Light”, and the mysteriously named “Glitter Pig”. Paul Mottram, head of Near Light, says that FRENZIES has been inspired by legendary multiplayer FPS games like Quake and Unreal Tournament. “We wanted to bring some unexpected excitement back into this genre, while still retaining the special qualities of VR shooters. FRENZIES hits that sweet spot. While a date for the release of FRENZIES has not been confirmed, this month we will have our first opportunity to play it in closed Alpha. Registering interest in the Alpha is the best way to participate.
