The release date for SWERY’s Death Game hotel is fast approaching

Death Game Hotel, a VR horror title from Deadly Premonition director SWERY, confirmed a release date on Quest.

Originally announced last year, Death Game Hotel is the debut VR game from White Owls, Inc. The studio, founded by Hidetaka Suehiro (better known as SWERY), whose past work included The MISSING: J.J. Macfield & the Island of Memories, was established. The game is a reinterpretation of the death-game trope that can be found in many anime films or TV series, including Danganronpa. The solo campaign, which includes single-player as well multiplayer play, puts you into the Death Game 2000 where you have to survive “quirky enemies.” The multiplayer mode has a similar theme, but you will be facing real people. Death Game involves contestants betting body parts, and players must empty chips into goblets filled with blood while avoiding it to overflow and put out the Reaper Candle. Once all of the candles are out, the Reaper appears for a different kind of deathmatch.

Death Game Hotel reaches the

platform on July 11 for $20, and it’s available for pre-order with a 10% discount.Meta Quest
