Comedy show ‘Taskmaster’ comes to VR today on Quest.
Announced last November, Taskmaster VR turns you into a contestant on the popular game show. This upcoming adaptation will have you facing “a menagerie” of bizarre and wonderful tasks as soon as you step into the Taskmaster’s house. There are multiple solutions to each task, and they must all be completed within the time frame set by Greg Davies. In a Scallywag
taskmaster VR press release it was announced that the game also has a “Creative Mode” where users can design their own tasks and situations. This includes an “extensive assortment” of toys and tools with hundreds available in the game. These challenges are available for local play once completed. The studio announced hours before the launch that Steam’s launch was delayed because of “unforeseen last-minute technical problems,” but the Quest launch remains unchanged. A new release date hasn’t been confirmed, and we’ll update this story once we hear more.
