Batman: Arkham Shadow dropped a new cinematic trailer for Quest 3’s VR action-adventure.
Following last month’s reveal, Batman: Arkham Shadow gave us a new look at the upcoming VR action-adventure game from Camouflaj (Iron Man VR) at Summer Game Fest. Gotham City is under siege by the Rat King, his followers and cult members, set between Arkham Asylum and Arkham Origins. They have abducted District Attorney Harvey Dent, Commissioner Gordon, and are threatening to kill them on a “Day of Wrath.” Arkham Shadow, which is a detailed version of the
game, will explore the origins and history of characters such as The Scarecrow or Harley Quinn. Batman is battling “the contradiction that lies at the heart of his character – using force to pursue peace.” Meta says that while today’s video didn’t show any gameplay footage, gameplay will be revealed at Gamescom in 2024. Arkham Shadow is said to offer “the same blend” of exploration, free-flowing battle, and stealth as the previous games, across a fully-fledged campaign.
