The Phoenix Royale mode marks the
major update. It introduces a full-sized, moving map. The map is littered with supply crates containing weapons and health supplies. These crates also include ‘Phoenix Gem Bars,’ a new currency that can buy items, supply drops, and weapon upgrades.
Several features and mechanics from Phoenix Royale will remain exclusive to this new map. The new Phoenix currency, the loot vaults and supply crates will not be available in other modes. However, the redeployment mechanic, the buy station, the loot crate, the supply crate, the Phoenix Gem Bars are. BigBox VR says that the mobile end zone is coming to other squad-based games. BigBox VR will offer a 3-day preview for players in the lead-up to its official launch. Starting May 31, at 11am PT, players who play five Phoenix Royale games will receive an exclusive title “Phoenix Rising”. After the launch, two matches will earn you the character skin “Delta”, and fifteen matches the character skin “Jet”.
