Kickstarter Now Live for Haven in the Mist Gameplay Teaser

Eldramoor: Haven in the Mist is a new fantasy VR MMORPG coming to Quest and PC VR, and it’s launched a Kickstarter campaign.

Developed by Resolute Games, Eldramoor: Haven in the Mist enables you to become avid adventurers, uncovering the secrets of a mythic land with friends. You can complete tasks such as mining, raiding and crafting in five different biomes. PvP battles are also possible, along with finding hidden treasures. Cosmetics and custom combat classes can be used to customize characters. Check out the teaser below:

If your preference is to take it more slowly, Eldramoor provides a variety of activities that you can enjoy in the town. Darts and fishing are just a few of the activities you can participate in. The game aims to make it accessible for everyone, and offers support for sound and color blindness. There’s also movement customizability and a choice of dyslexia-friendly fonts.

Eldramoor is far from the first VR MMORPG, though. The first VR MMORPG was Orbus VR, which shut down in January. Zenith: The Last City  later adopted free-to-play model, before adopting ceasing development 2024. Ilysia now goes free-to play this summer. Resolute Games seems to know the history of the MMO genre, but this raises the question whether or not the VR market will be ready for one. “I got into VR in 2018 through Orbus. Over time, I found that the games I enjoyed either failed or stalled. That’s when I decided to take the bull by the horns and build something new,” says Resolute CEO Lynn M. Souza in a prepared statement.

The developers behind Eldramoor: Haven in the Mist have begun a

campaign today, with the game set to launch on Quest and Kickstarter in the future. Like any other crowdfunding system, Kickstarter has its risks. The article was revised on June 24th, 2025 to include a new headline and featured image. The quote was removed the next day, after Resolute Games informed UploadVR they were no longer working together.
