AWE 2025: 4 Companies Building XR’s Future

Next week, AWE USA 20, one of XR’s largest annual conferences kicks off. Four interesting companies will be attending the event. We have a sneak peek of what they’ll be showcasing.

CREAL

at AWE 2025 will display its Clarity light field display. Since its release at the start of the year CREAL has continuously improved image quality through the use of spatial light modulators. Visitors can experience the new display through a headset and a pair of tabletop glasses

. Both prototypes include CREAL’s Clarity display which includes the light-field optical engine, holographic lenses and the holographic lens. Beyond the display, both prototypes integrate off-the-shelf parts to allow full-scale demonstrations. VORTEX is built on the proprietary ForgeSIM Framework and delivers immersive, AI enriched, scenario-based training through photorealistic LiDAR environment, GIS-enabled Sand Tables, voice activated SMEs, real-time performance analysis–already being piloted by JPEO CBRND for CBRN Response. ForgeFX also introduces an enhanced Horizontal Directional Drill Simulator, developed with Vermeer Corporation. It features authentic drill control and a brand new Auto Rod Exchange module, which trains on a previously unsimulated, safety critical task. Attendees can interact with six interactive demos at Booth #346. These include the JLG Access Ready XR Trainer, Somero S-22EZ Laser Screed Simulator, CBRND HoloTrainer, Trumpf Laser cutting simulator, ForgeFX excavator simulator, and Ocuweld VR welding simulator. is showcasing the PICO 4, its latest mixed reality headset for enterprise applications. The headset is equipped with advanced MR and the PICOMotion Tracker to track full-body movements and objects. PICO has expanded successfully into education and training as well as location-based entertainment. Visitors to the booth can experience these use cases in real life. PICO will have a private meeting room for more in-depth discussions about the solutions that can help accelerate business strategies. PICO is also hosting two special sessions. ‘Unlocking Potential for LBE: Scaling PICO’s XR Solutions,’ and a ‘Superpowers of Spatial Developers – WebSpatial and SpatialML. ‘
