Neon cither is a VR puzzle action game inspired by Moss, and will be released next month via Quest and Steam. The Vancouver-based eXomorph Games developed Neon Cipher, a sci-fi puzzle platformer inspired by Moss and Portal. It features 50 levels and a mixture of first- and third-person gameplay. You play as a hacker, and your goal is fight enemies and solve puzzles while breaking into the evil XE_CORP’s database. The third-person segments are controlled using gamepad controls. You move your character and collect all the keys in each level. Your controllers will help your character move around the environment. They can also temporarily stun enemy enemies. A built-in editor allows you to create your own objects.
Studio Head Jon Bogert explained that Neon Cipher started as a small project during his degree in programming. He kept the scope to three months. Bogert claims he went back to the project after graduating to develop it and now it’s ready for release.
Neon Cipher will be released on June 6, on
