Alliance Peacefighter is a PC VR space sim inspired by X-Wing.

The Manchester-based Urban Logic Games studio created Alliance Peacefighter, which previously appeared in the

issue with a demo that has since been removed. The developer says the game will have an “esthetic somewhere between Homeworld” and “Star Fox.” It is also a “love letter to those who grew-up with space simulations”. Alliance Peacefighter is a hybrid VR and flatscreen game that gives players full control of the ship’s shields and power distribution. Motion controllers, gamepads, HOTAS joysticks, and Steam Deck are all supported.

Presently, Alliance Peacefighter is only coming to Steam, and that doesn’t look set to change unless the game’s successful. Urban Logic Games responded to a question on YouTube by saying that the upcoming VR space simulator would only be available for PCs. We’ll look at other platforms if the game is successful.
