Into The Darkness Launches Early Access on PC VR

Into The Darkness – a physics action game with a sandbox and campaign mode – is now available through Steam Early Access.

Into The Darkness was developed by 9 Lives and Cosmos Games. It is an atmospheric sci-fi story with a sandbox experimental mode that allows you to freely create enemies, weapons, and other items. In this dystopian adventure, you play as Agent Frank and are charged with infiltrating AARC’s secret base while fighting androids.

Into The Darkness features a range of combat options including pistols. rifles, and shotsguns. You can find melee weapons such as knives and crowbars, alongside ranged options like bows and shurikens. The dismembered parts of your enemies can be used to make improvised attacks. By collecting LUMA you can craft ammo, healing injectors and weapons. Crafting stations, however, are rare.

You’ll also need to solve puzzles in an interactive environment, and Agent Frank is armed with a variety of devices. A special glove, for example, can be used by Agent Frank to manipulate the gravity of his surroundings and enemies, while his hacking device reveals secrets about the organization.

Into The Darkness early access contains half of the planned levels, as well as the Sandbox Mode’s core mechanics including dismemberment and environmental scanning. The studio will “consider adding more story-levels, expanding the Sandbox Mode and introducing a Arcade Mode with Mini-Games” when the full release is released. They are also considering new gameplay mechanics, collecting items, and tools to record gameplay.

, Into The Darkness, is now available on Steam Early Access at $19.99. The studio predicts that the full release of the game will come after 12 months. At this time, a price hike is planned.
