Inspired Wing Commander and X Wing, Alliance Peacefighter delivers a story driven space sim for PC VR next Monday. Alliance Peacefighter was created by Manchester-based Urban Logic Games and previously appeared in the
issue with a demo that has since been removed. Developer Urban Logic Games says that the new title will be a tribute to the “golden age of space simulations” and “a love letter to people who grew-up with them.” The game’s aesthetic is “somewhere in between Homeworld and Star Fox,” and the developer claims it will aim for an “ethnic somewhere between Homeworld and Star Fox.” Alliance Peacefighter is a hybrid VR and flatscreen game that gives you complete control over your ship’s power distribution and shields. Steam Deck, HOTAS joysticks and motion controllers are all supported. Alliance Peacefighter currently only comes to Steam. That isn’t likely to change, unless it’s a big hit. Urban Logic Games said in a comment on YouTube that it would be PC VR only at the moment. If the game sells well, we will look at other platforms. February’s Steam Next Fest
