Tablecraft is a project that uses the
to isolate you from the other players in the room. Airspace Defender uses hand-tracking and displays the game as mixed reality in your actual environment. A diorama world is displayed in your playing space. We discussed how a diorama world in Gears & Goo & Demeo would change the difficulty of Airspace Defender. With Tablecraft we discussed how local mirroring of portions of the world on a tablet, or any other device that is a companion to the game would be a great addition for education. Brochado revealed they already built some of that functionality for educators to use in some settings, despite developer tools making it exceedingly difficult for them to accomplish.
