VR multiplayer mech game Iron Rebellion enters full release this week on Quest & Steam.
Previously described as a love letter to Titanfall and Hawken, Iron Rebellion is now ready for full release on December 12. Black Beach Studio has revealed the next 1.0 update will add a progression system, starting with the simplest mechs and guns. This should help newcomers get a better grasp of the game. Other changes include “significant optimizations, leaderboards, and a final round of general polish.”
Initially released in early access three years ago, we’ve been expecting news on the upcoming full release since September’s ‘Abilities & Augments‘ update. The patch added three new mechs and abilities to each one, updated other maps and added community maps. It also reworked screens in the cockpit. Iron Rebellion’s early access is now available on both the
and Meta Quest platforms, with the full release hitting both platforms on 12 December.
