Maestro hosts a new audience on SteamVR today


Maestro brings the classical music-focused VR rhythm game to Steam today.

Developed by Double Jack, Maestro sees you play as a conductor leading an orchestra across the Paris classical music scene, featuring 15 songs ranging from Beethoven’s The 5th Symphony and Wagner’s The Ride Of The Valkyries. You’ll only be able to use controllers with Quest Link, and with Virtual Desktop, hand tracking will emulate controllers. With Quest Link you’ll only be able to use controllers, and with Virtual Desktop if you use hand tracking will just emulate controllers.

We had high praise in our

on Quest last week. We gave it 4.5/5 and praised its hand tracking controls. Double Jack made a bold decision to create a rhythm-based game that relies on hand tracking. It succeeds in style. It’s a breath fresher compared to other VR rhythm games I have played in the past. Maestro has a ton of potential for improvement. I’m addicted.
