The Sevilla-based company promised an update with new MR features around World Chess Day. However, they did not specify whether the update was to be released on that day. The new MR features are now available at a permanent reduced price (USD) of $9.99. This is compared to the $14.99 original. The players can customize their environment by adding new windows, statues or projecting images on their ceiling. The special boards and sets available in Chess Club’s non-MR modes are also still available in mixed reality.
