Korea is the latest country to get VR support, following
in 2017. IL-2 Series will be available on Steam by 2025 to coincide with the 75th Anniversary of the Korean War. While the press release does state “VR compatibility,” little else is known about upcoming support and no further platforms are mentioned.
Developer 1C Game Studios states the next game in the series will still maintain everything fans would expect. These new aircraft models, which include eight classic planes to fly, can suffer more realistic damage. This game is set during the Korean War which started in 1950 and ended in 1953.
