The UploadVR Summer Showcase Highlights mixed reality gaming on June 26

We can confirm Creature will be bringing several projects under Doug North Cook’s new label. Cubism’s Thomas Van Bouwel will show us a sneak peek of the

footage captured on a Quest 3 with a stabilized camera. There’s also more to come from Creature, and we plan on having an amazing game near the beginning of our show which starts at

North Cook carefully chose his development partners for Creature, and we believe at least one of their games will open minds to the idea that playing around in VR, or mixed reality, means something quite a bit different than it does on traditional gaming systems.

Walkabout Mini Golf also sent us one of the shortest videos in the Showcase that will also have some of the biggest impact. Walkabout Mini Golf has a wide range of courses. We’ve visited Jim Henson’s Labyrinth and at the Eiffel tower, travelled to Meow Wolf’s mind-bending space, swam in Atlantis with whales, and explored Jim Henson’s Labyrinth. 2025 will feature Viva Last Elvis, and anything else Mighty Coconut can come up with for mini-golfing. This summer, though, they’re working with famed animation studio Aardman to take mini golfers inside Wallace & Gromit’s gadget-filled home, and the first glimpse is incoming to our Showcase.UploadVR Game Of The Year 2022 What The Bat is back too, with more of their silly spatial jokes, and there’s an assortment of interesting mixed reality ideas in store from others as well.
