Following its recent Quest release, Fall Guys-inspired Sky Climb heads for PSVR 2 next month.
Previously launched on Quest App Lab before April’s full release, Sky Climb by VRMonkey (Galaxy Kart) is a VR platforming game set in a “balloon-themed universe.” This family-friendly game promises an adventure spanning 65 levels in seven different worlds. It also includes various power-ups. You are tasked with “restoring the harmony of our guardians by saving them from corruption.” “
Joining this solo campaign is an online multiplayer mode where you can compete against five other players, alongside online leaderboards that record each level’s fastest times. There’s also a ‘Builder Mode’ for creating your own levels, which VRMonkey confirms supports mixed reality.
During GDC 2024, our video producer Don Hopper interviewed VRMonkey to learn more.
Sky Climb is available now on the Meta Quest platform for $14.99, and a PSVR 2 version follows on June 26. Notice: This article originally appeared on April 4, 2020. It was updated on May 28 following the PSVR 2 release date confirmation.
