EA Sports VR support for EA Sports Rally is now available on PC


EA Sports WRC brings the FIA World Rally Championship to PC VR today.

Released last November for flatscreen platforms, EA Sports WRC is the latest racing game from Codemasters based on the FIA World Rally Championship. PC VR will be available for existing owners of the EA App, Steam and EGS. It includes over 200 stages in 18 WRC official locations and 78 cars. Here’s the new gameplay trailer.

Codemasters states they’re calling this a beta because it’s “a new project for our development team,” explaining that VR support for Dirt Rally 2.0 used external partners while WRC is an internal effort. The developers also state that the current range of VR hardware and headset specifications is too wide to test all possible scenarios. The list of supported headsets includes Quest/Pro/3, Valve Index/Rift S, Oculus CV1/HTC Vive, and Rift S. Publisher 505 Games, and Kunos Simulazioni confirmed the release of

this year. There is not much else known about the game beyond its EXOcars release date. Platforms and VR compatibility are still unknown.
