Shadow Hunter Class and New World for The Light Brigade

The Light Brigade, the roguelike shooting game from Capcom, has released a free update today that introduces a Hunter class and reveals upcoming features. Available on all platforms and available in the ‘Shadow Hunter update’, the new archery focused ‘Hunter class’ is introduced. The developer Funktronic Labs calls them “masters of stealth”, who use a recurve and throw knives. To unlock them, a rifleman must be level 5, or have any class reach level 20, to do so. Here’s the new trailer.

Elsewhere, Shadow Hunter also introduces a new procedurally generated world, Sunless Keep. There are new tarots that can boost your character’s ability during runs. Funktronic Labs also states that the update includes “tons” of game fixes and balances. Shadow Hunter is the most recent major update to be released since February last year. Following a patch that implemented The Light Brigade’s on PSVR 2, August’s ‘

' update added two playable classes – The Engineer and The Breacher, alongside new hand-crafted levels and a shooting range mini-game.

The Light Brigade – Shadow Hunter update is available now on the
