was first built for the Rift DK1, the very first headset released by Oculus for developers. It was released on Google Cardboard and Google Daydream as well as Samsung GearVR, Oculus, Go, and Oculus Rift consumer-level headsets. The game is highly adaptable to any headset without requiring controllers, eye-tracking or hand-tracking. While other games feel more like board games, Protonpulse offers a truly immersive experience. It takes over the entire environment just as most VR games do on other headsets. Apple’s decision not to include controllers in Vision Pro has undermined much of the XR design knowledge accumulated over the past decade. Many are forced to go back to basics when working within these limitations.
